Hi Jo welcome to ReefSafe!

Its certainly a steap learning curve when you start out. It does get easier but it never stops. I learn something new every day.....it may be due to my fish geek status though! You'll find a shed load of good information on here and tools like LogIt! and the calculators (top menu bar) can make it a little easier too. Most importantly just ask!!! There are some of the best reefers in the country on here and the advice they give is priceless! And being as they aren't trying to sell you anything in the process you can guarentee the advice is unbiased!

Most of all enjoy it....its a hobby after all!

Hi, i am from oxfordshire, wallingford. How do you send messages add smiles,etc,using this site is a leaning curve as well first time today, my brother says i can i post tank picture and do allsorts but he lives in camberley so can't get me started.

First off.....smilies.....they all appear on the right hand side when you are writing a post. Just put the courser where you want them in the post and click the smiley! Simples

Pictures can be attached to the post too. Below the box where you type your post is a tab called "Upload attachment" which if you click you should be able to follow. If not we'll give you a few more pointers!

I can totally sympathise with your comment about "...finding it hard work!" at first - it can be very overwhelming. But don't worry and don't panic - we're here to help though everything and take you through things step-by-step. This really is the most helpful and friendly site around
