breeding royal grammas

Hi guys

Has any one bred royal grammas ? just asking as im thinking of having a "theme" puddle and have been looking at different fish to keep. would you keep more than one pair and also do they have any special needs if kept in a group

Once they become adults a group will fight to the death. Even as pairs you need to be sure you have a true pair!

orchid dottys can be bred...mine laid each week

Thankyou chew. We are looking into options for a theme pond for jan and she loves the look of them.
Maybe she would be better to look for something other vthan just them. Anyway expect the questions to come thick and fast as we try to determind whats what :poke:

no unfortunately i never caught them hatching....i sadly lost the pair when i moved my tank, but felt sure they would eventually, and apparently they can be bred in a very similar way to clowns....there is plenty of written stuff about it too...try google as some of it i don't want to link to on here :wink:
