Star polyp "prpblem"?

Postby mlpotter » Tue Mar 09, 2010 12:14 am

Hi all

I bought a clolny of star polyps fro the LFS on saturday afternoon. They havent "come out to play" since i put them in the tank

I added them the sam way i do for al corals etc

Water params as follows - s.g. 1.025, Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 10ppm

Is there likely to be a problem or are thay having a sulk due to the move?

thanks in advance!

I had star polyps for couple of years, during which time it spread well so I assme it was happy. From time to time it would just stay closed up, sometimes for a few days. I don't think I would worry about it. As long as your water is OK it should be fine.

could well be sulking, or in too much flow maybe?
