i to have looked into this,my local diy shop does glass but on working out the price its more than a ready made tank :suprised:

a quote for glass from pilkinton glass near me was a bit more.

the price of tanks have gone up so much,i bought a tank 30x18x18 4 years ago for £29 from a guy who has made tanks for me since 12 yrs ago

i rang him for a 24x18x18 £80.

i agree dave i think id be able to make a tank better with straight silicone :mrgreen:
