advice please

hi peeps just wondered if an achillies tang would be ok in a 4 ft tank with a mimic tang, yellow tang and a moorish idol fish only system or 5ft but many different tangs incliding 2 yellow 1 purple tang 1 powder blue white tail tang and a coral hind grouper also the 5 ft is a reef tank. Only ive ordered 1 n after reading a bit about them not sure if it was a good move lol

Looking at the fish you already have, you have a couple of very demanding guys already with the Moorish Idol and the Powder Blue. Wouldn't think the Achilles is any more demanding than them in terms of care. But like Miggsy says they do have a poor survival rate along with the Moorish Idol. They do need a lot of swimming space and are the more aggresive of the Tangs I think.

Nothing to do with the question but just wondered about your Moorish Idol? How long have you had it and is it eating well?? They are my favourite fish ever and am having a battle with myself about having one

had it about 3 months now feeding well even eating flakes he was in the 5 ft but didnt get on wiv the grouper lovely fish tho much better lookin than the banner fish lol

They are the most stunning fish Glad yours seem to be doing well and eating Moorish Idol v Bannerfish not even in the same league
